Hand Rendered Hype
One of Britains finest graphic artists Mark Ward presented a series of his work in a Covent Garden show entitled Hand Rendered Hype. Over the years he has had a strong impact ranging from work with Nike, Stussy, Burton to Medicom Toy, New Era and New Balance through numerous mediums from t-shirts to magazine covers.

We were asked to produce a 5 ft high model of the logo for inclusion in the exhibition. Here is the finished piece

This photo shows the foam before the picture was painted onto the front of it. The foam is a highly irregular shape and had to be made specifically for the job.

 

 

 

 

 Here we have scaled up the original picture to produce a cutout of the image at the actual size required by the customer.
