Foam mattress types

From standard foam mattresses, reflex foam, laytech, to the latest Medac memory foam space technology researched foam. Our mattresses give a stellar performance in the realms of a nights sleep.

Standard Foam Mattresses

We offer a choice of a hard blue firm and a medium white firm mattress you can specify the thickness and if necessary the size.

This is the standard of foam you would expect in an Ikea standard mattress the difference is you are buying direct from the manufacturer not only saving yourself money but doing your bit for the environment as there is less transport and handling involved. 

Reflex Foam mattresses

Replicating a sprung mattress our reflex high density foam is comfort guaranteed. This is for those who prefer a softer feel and a more ‘slunked’ in feel to a mattress. This foam still gives support as it is a high density and often used in the caravan and motor home locations as reflex foam can double up as a good seat cushion.

Soft Reflex foam mattresses

This foam is popular for use in daybeds and sofa beds again a springy feel

Memory foam mattresses

Space Agency NASA needed to develop a foam material to help combat the effects of the extreme G forces when the space shuttle left and entered the earth’s atmosphere. This was to protect the seated astronauts from the extreme pressures of g forces. The result was memory foam. This is leading edge technology and has revolutionized the mattress and bedding industry.

The beauty of memory foam (also known as Visco/Vasco/Tempur) is how it responds to body heat and will mould to suit each individual’s body shape and therefore provide for extreme comfort and a blessed nights sleep. Once you remove yourself from the memory foam it returns to its normal shape.
