RESTAURANTS, PUBS & BARS

Cutfoam's expertise is limitless when it comes to seating. We can do anything from one-off cushions to large-scale commercial fit-outs. We were commissioned to create the bespoke seating for ice cream cafe chain Creams. The brief was to design furniture featuring Creams brand colours and incorporate the logo by embroidering it into the tops of the seats. SIMPLE SEATING

We can make seating as complex as your imagination allows, but sometimes keeping it simple (and recycled) is what's needed. This brief, for London Fashion Week, was for all of the seating in the show space to be made from recycled foam (recon-8). This product is becoming more and more popular due to its green credentials and its distinctive marbled look. One of the charms of recon that is different form all the other foams is that no two blocks are the same, each blocks look is determined by what foam was being recycled that day.

SEATING WITH THE X FACTOR

Well, Britain's Got Talent, but close enough! When the BGT production team called saying they were having trouble finding a 13-foot long sofa for one of their acts to do summersaults from, we were unsurprised - but we told them they had come to the right place! We designed the sofa in a firm density foam so that it was easy to stand and jump from and used a fabric that was resilient enough to take the stress of a troop doing an acrobatic routine.
